About Me

For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by consciousness—how we experience reality, how perception shapes our understanding, and the ways in which consciousness can expand beyond ordinary awareness. My curiosity led me to explore a wide range of experiences and spiritual traditions that stretched the limits of perception, seeking to understand both the depths of inner awareness and the science behind it.
This passion eventually led me to study physics, initially drawn to efforts that attempted to bridge quantum mechanics and consciousness. However, I came to recognize that while physics excels at explaining the material world, consciousness is not only unmeasurable by physics—it lies entirely outside the scope of what physics can study.
What I once saw as two distinct ways of thinking—scientific analysis and mystical exploration—are, in fact, deeply connected. My analytical and abstract way of thinking, along with my science training, also opens space for intuition, insight, and creativity. My creativity finds expression in painting with various media, developing lectures, and teaching classes.
When I’m not coaching, teaching, or volunteering, I spend my time creating art, reading paranormal fiction, engaging in user testing to improve digital experiences, having thought-provoking conversations with friends, exploring new ideas, or just enjoying the present moment. I live in Thousand Oaks, California, with my two adorable dogs, Hazel and Lanie.
